NC announced on the 22nd that it has updated its PC MMORPG 'Aion' with the addition of 'Kaldor,' a new server-integrated battlefield, and new Epic grade accessories. The update focuses on expanding large-scale PVP content and introducing new equipment.
The new field, 'Kaldor,' is a server-integrated battlefield where users from Deva servers 1 through 4 can participate together. Players level 50 and above can enter regardless of their faction. It was applied to the Deva servers on the 22nd and is scheduled to be updated for the Ciel and Israphel servers on August 12.
In Kaldor, the large-scale battle content 'Anoha Fortress Siege' takes place every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:00 PM. Users compete for victory by capturing artifacts and defeating the opposing faction's guardian deity. Participants in the fortress siege can purchase consumables at a discount from exclusive merchants, and death penalties are not applied during combat, allowing for a more accessible experience.
Two types of Epic grade accessories have also been added. The new earrings and rings offer higher stats than existing equipment and trigger exclusive effects with a certain probability during combat. The earrings grant a shield to the wearer while dealing damage to enemies, while the rings increase attack and casting speed to improve combat efficiency. These accessories can be obtained in the 'Anoha Raid,' which takes place after the Anoha Fortress Siege concludes.
To celebrate the update, NC is also hosting the 'Advance to Kaldor' event. Until the regular maintenance on July 29, players who defeat monsters in the Kaldor field have a chance to receive a 'Kaldor Treasure Chest,' which contains items such as Fabled grade Stigma shards, Fabled grade equipment shards, and Scrolls of Quickness.
This update focuses on enhancing the fun of combat content by introducing a new battlefield for server users to enjoy together and adding new equipment that links PVP and raid rewards.
