Kakao Games announced on the 22nd that it is hosting 'Cool Summer Festa,' an integrated summer season event for 'PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds' (PUBG), developed by KRAFTON's PUBG STUDIOS. The event offers various rewards and offline benefits to Kakao PUBG users and internet cafe players nationwide, while also opening registration for a clan esports tournament.
The highlight of the event is the 'Kakao PUBG Summer Random Shooting Event,' which features a prize pool totaling ₩100 million. Users can earn points by logging in and playing the game, which can then be used to enter raffles for high-end gaming PCs, gaming laptops, LG StanbyME displays, iPad Airs, gaming gear, and other physical prizes. Additionally, users can win up to 1 million G-Coin, with bonus points available for new and returning players.
The 'Summer Kakao PUBG Point Exchange Event' will also be held. Points earned through gameplay can be exchanged for various in-game skins and time-limited G-Coin. Both events will run until August 18.
Benefits are also available for internet cafe players. Those who play PUBG at PICA and Geto-affiliated internet cafes can earn entry tickets for prize draws and receive exclusive mileage coupons usable at those locations.
Registration has also begun for the '2026 PUBG Integrated Clan Cup,' which features a total prize pool of ₩20 million.
