Gravity has announced the start of the global closed beta test (CBT) for 'NBA Rise,' a mobile basketball card game developed under an official NBA license. The test will run until 4:00 PM on July 29 (KST) and is available via Google Play in eight Asian regions, including South Korea, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore.

'NBA Rise' is a mobile card game developed in-house by Gravity using official licenses from the NBA and the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA). The game features real NBA players, team logos, and game data, incorporating the latest 2025-2026 season rosters. The match interface is designed like a sports broadcast, allowing players to view real-time information such as quarter progress, scores, rebounds, and team strength.

The core of the game involves building your own team through player scouting, card collection, and development. Acquired player cards can be improved through level ups and grade enhancements, and players can devise various strategies by utilizing position-based combinations and synergy systems.

The game supports both PVP and PvE content. Users can enjoy PVP modes such as Arena, Popularity Contests, and Tower Race, as well as PvE content including Season Matches and Daily Divisions. Players can also participate in RvR Club Conquests based on the guild system. Additionally, a market is available for trading player cards and key items, and the club feature facilitates in-game chat and community activities.

Gravity is hosting various events during the CBT period. Players can earn resources and growth items through login and attendance rewards, content play missions, and player card growth missions. Furthermore, community events such as joining the official Facebook and Discord channels, sharing favorite player certifications, and showcasing decks are underway. Participants in the CBT survey will also receive coupons redeemable after the official launch.

As competition in the sports game market intensifies among team-building titles utilizing real league licenses, 'NBA Rise' aims to capture the global market by highlighting its card collection and strategic elements based on the latest NBA season data. Gravity plans to prepare for the official launch after verifying content and service stability through this CBT.
