Lilly Mittermeier has graduated from St. George's The British International School Munich. Her father, comedian Michael Mittermeier (60), announced the happy news on Instagram with a photo from the graduation ceremony.
The picture shows him in an elegant dark blue suit with a light blue shirt underneath, Lilly in a dark graduation gown with cap, and her mother, singer Gudrun Allwang-Mittermeier, in a blue and black patterned dress. The three are beaming at the camera while the graduate holds her diploma in her hand.
Michael and Gudrun Mittermeier wrote loving words addressed to their daughter: "Dear Lilly! We have always tried to give you roots and wings, and you have become an incredibly wonderful young woman; so smart and empathetic, so questioning and independent, so humorous and committed!" They continued with three red hearts: "Congratulations on your IB [International Baccalaureate, Ed.] Graduation! We love you very much! Mom and Dad".

This even elicited a "Bravo!!!" with a red heart from comedy star Bully in the comments section. Mittermeier's response: "Thank you, my dear. You still have that ahead of you".
Singer Rea Garvey wrote: "Congratulations" with three applause emojis. "Lots of love back," Gudrun responded, and Michael wrote: "Isn't it amazing how they grow."
Rare photo of Lilly Mittermeier
What makes the photo even more special is the fact that daughter Lilly was not shown publicly until a few months ago.
The then 17-year-old made her surprising debut on her parents' Instagram accounts in September 2025. At the time, the Mittermeiers were on a big trip to Africa. And in one photo, the three stand arm in arm in front of the famous Victoria Falls waterfalls in Zambia, beaming at the camera - Michael and Gudrun with sunglasses, daughter Lilly without.
Another clip shows mother and daughter on location doing a bungee jump together.
In a joint photo from Mozambique - the last stop of the three-country tour after Botswana - Lilly Mittermeier was seen once again wearing sunglasses.
Corona pandemic podcast "Synapsen Mikado"
Fans of the comedian at least already knew her voice, as father and daughter started the podcast "Synapsen Mikado" during the Corona pandemic in July 2021.
But back then she could only be heard, which was apparently her wish: "When we started the podcast professionally, we asked Lilly, for example, whether she wanted to be photographed with her face [...] and she said no," Michael Mittermeier explained in 2022 in an interview with "Gala".
