Jennifer Garner (54) and Judy Greer (51) are once again standing in front of the camera together. The two actresses were spotted on Tuesday on the set of Netflix's 13 Going on 30 remake, as People reports. Photos show Garner in a floral dress, while Greer was seen in a blue suit in classic business attire. Also on set were Emily Bader (29) and Logan Lerman (34), who together take on the leading roles in the remake.
Plot details still unknown
Garner and Greer previously starred together in the successful romantic comedy 13 Going on 30 from 2004, which also featured Mark Ruffalo (58). The plot centers on two childhood friends who have been rivals for years. Garner portrayed Jenna Rink, a 13-year-old who suddenly wakes up in the body of her 30-year-old self in the future. Greer played the rival Lucy Wyman. For the remake, Brett Haley (42) is directing, and Garner is also involved as executive producer.
Further details about the production are not yet known. It also remains unclear whether Emily Bader and Logan Lerman will portray the familiar characters Jenna and Matty - who was originally played by Ruffalo - or whether the remake will tell a new story. It is also uncertain whether Garner and Greer will reprise their previous roles or portray new characters in the remake.
Close friendship
Previously, Greer had expressed her excitement about working with Garner again in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. "I really enjoy working with her, so it's very hard for me to turn her down for anything," Greer said in April. "And she knows that, by the way."
The two actresses have shared a close friendship since working together on 13 Going on 30. Most recently, they stood in front of the camera together again for the series The Five-Star Weekend. Garner recently revealed that she and Greer even lived together in a house in Nantucket while working on the streaming show. "She was my roommate," she told Entertainment Weekly. "I had rented a house and just said: 'Oh, Judy, just come stay with me.' That was especially fun."
