Wizards of the Coast has revealed the full product lineup for Magic: The Gathering's The Hobbit set. The products were showcased during The Hobbit debut stream held at MagicCon Amsterdam 2026. Here's every product announced for MTG's The Hobbit set.

Expansion Symbols and Legality

The Hobbit set has two expansion symbols with different legalities

Magic: The Gathering | The Hobbit Eternal-Legal Set Code: HOC

MTG The Hobbit cards with the HOB set code are legal in all formats. Meanwhile, cards with the HOC set code are legal in Commander, Legacy, and Vintage, with individual cards being legal where available in other formats.

The Hobbit Play Boosters contain cards with the HOB symbol. These cards are legal in the set's draft and sealed format if pulled from Play Boosters.
