KARA member Heo Young Ji revealed that she endured seven years of stalking and harassment, with the person even approaching her family. The singer shared her painful experience on MBN and SBS Plus' crime talk show "The Psychopath I Met," where she and Super Junior's Kyuhyun discussed their own encounters with obsessive fans.

During the July 19 episode, the program explored real-life crimes involving stalking, home invasions, privacy violations, and scams, AllKPop reported.

Under the theme "Why Did You Come to My House?" the show examined cases that left the cast shocked and highlighted the fear victims experience in places that should feel safe.

Heo Young Ji opened up about the harassment she faced during her idol career. She revealed that the stalker began targeting her in 2016 and continued the behavior for several years.

"Since 2016, there was someone who tormented me for about seven years," Heo said.

According to Heo, the person repeatedly visited the café operated by her parents and waited there. The stalker also collected personal information, including her family's vehicle details, and contacted her parents and older sister.

Heo Young Ji Says Stalker Approached Her Family

The situation became more serious when the stalker misunderstood her family's kindness.

Heo explained that her parents once gave food to the person because they believed they were simply a fan. However, the stalker reportedly viewed the gesture as proof of a special connection.

The person later sent messages to other fans, claiming that people were only against the relationship because they were jealous. The stalker also made threatening remarks, causing further concern for Heo and her family.

According to SportsKhan, Heo revealed that she sought professional help because of the continued harassment. "In 2020, I even consulted a lawyer," she shared while explaining how seriously she had to handle the situation.

Kyuhyun also shared his own frightening experience from his time living with Super Junior members. He recalled that a fan once tried to enter their dormitory by hiding in a fire hose cabinet located in the apartment hallway.

"I lived in dorms for 18 years, and there was a time our place was broken into by fans," Kyuhyun said. He explained that the fan hid inside the cabinet because they wanted to see the door passcode when someone entered the home.
