As the weather heats up in Nashville, award-winning country music singer Kane Brown is keeping it "cool" in more ways than one.
On Wednesday, Coleman and the "Used to Love You Sober" singer announced a partnership with a limited-time collection. The "Coleman x Kane Brown Collection" features special items in a steel-belted hard cooler, a stainless-steel tumbler, a Snap 'N Go™ Hard Collapsible Cooler and a soft cooler sling.
"I have really enjoyed working with the Coleman team on this collection and showing fans the products I use at my home, on the road, and at the beach," Brown said, per the press release. "I hope everyone enjoys them as much as I do."
The first partnership between Coleman and the legendary music star comes two months after he opened his new bar, Kane Brown's On Broadway.
During an exclusive interview with Men's Journal, Brown talked about the partnership with Coleman, the limited-time collection and his new bar.
"They let me have a say so and let me be creative, which is one of my favorite things about this collab with them," Brown said. "From putting my name on the awesome Snap N' Go cooler — possibly the coolest thing that I've ever seen in my life — to the little tumbler cups that I have on stage with me that always keep my tequila cold....they just look really clean to me. It's been a fun project to be working with."
Men's Journal asked Brown which "must-have" Coleman items he packs for pre-show tailgates and hangouts.
"I always have my tumbler with me; it goes everywhere I go, every show I'm at, you'll see me with it," Brown said. "But these Snap N' Go coolers...they're definitely going to be backstage with me from now.
What's Brown's go-to beverage to keep in the Coleman tumbler when he's on stage?
"Definitely tequila margarita, but goes great with water, too."
Designing and Creating 'Kane Brown's On Broadway'
Kane Brown's on Broadway, located at 312 Broadway in Nashville, opened on May 22. The four-story venue, open seven days a week, features "nonstop" live music and DJ performances.
Asked about what was essential in designing his new bar, Brown stressed the importance of maintaining the country vibes on Broadway and supplying a "nightlife" feel.
"I just wanted it to stand out, represent me," Brown said. "I grew up on country music, but I also love every genre of music. One of my favorite things when I moved down here was coming down to Broadway...seeing the different bands.
"Being a little different, there weren't many hip hop places here. Dierks Bentley's (was) the bar I hung out at the most because they had a DJ. I wanted to bring a nightlife type of vibe to my bar, mix in a little bit of country."
Kane Brown's on Broadway includes the Miami-style Dusk Rooftop. In addition to refreshing frozen cocktails, guests receive jaw-dropping views of the Nashville skyline.
"Miami is the ultimate nightlife," Brown said. "Whatever place to represent? I just got a new house in Florida. I love palm trees, I love combining it all together...it's turned out great."
As for the most surprising aspect of developing his own bar?
"I didn't realize how much alcohol goes in there; I didn't really know," he said. "I think that's what I was most surprised (by)."
