Jason Kelce experienced a dramatic lifestyle shift after his brother Travis began dating Taylor Swift.

On the Tuesday, July 21 episode of the Ross Tucker Football Podcast, the ESPN analyst admitted the fame that came from his 13-year run in the NFL was no match to the publicity he received after his family started associating with the “Blank Space” singer.

When asked about his experience with “the fame thing,” he recalled, “It was definitely gradual, and then it just like was a very big flip, obviously, when Taylor and Travis started dating.”

He said Travis and Taylor’s relationship caused him to reach “a whole ‘nother demographic of fan base,” explaining, “I went from very much being dominated by large fat man coming up to me and shaking my hand and thanking me for being an Eagle to little girls.

“It was quite a shift of people that became fans,” he added.

Jason said his “entire family” received that same level of attention.

The couple’s romance started three years ago, when Travis mentioned Taylor on his New Heights podcast. During an episode that aired in July 2023, the NFL star had admitted to attempting to shoot his shot at her iconic Eras Tour.

While attending the show in Kansas City, Travis tried to give the singer a friendship bracelet, which is a common act at her concerts amongst fans.

“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,” he confessed.

Two months later, reports said the two had started spending time together.

After three years of dating, the two tied the knot during a grandiose wedding at Madison Square Garden in New York City. According to a People insider, the ceremony was officiated by Adam Sandler. After the bride and groom delivered 20-minute vows, the night continued with special performances from Paul McCartney and Stevie Nicks.
