Jason Kelce shares how Travis Kelce’s relationship with Taylor Swift affected his life.
The Philadelphia Eagles alum made an appearance on the Ross Tucker Football podcast on July 21, where he explained how interest in his life from the internet increased once the two went public with their romance.
“It was definitely gradual, and then it just like was a very big flip, obviously, when Taylor and Travis started dating,” Jason told Tucker.

The Super Bowl champion shared that given Swift’s global pop stardom, there were more people wanting to learn more about him. He told Tucker, their relationship “led to a whole ‘nother demographic of fan base being interested in not just me but our entire family.”
“I went from very much being dominated by large fat men coming up to me and shaking my hand and thanking me for being an Eagle to little girls,” Jason continued. “It was quite a shift of people that became fans.”
Travis and Swift began dating in 2023. The couple hard-launched their relationship when the “Blank Space” singer attended a Kansas City Chiefs game in September 2023. The couple who got married on July 3 at Madison Square Garden made a nod to their date at their wedding when they gave away a restored 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle. The car was complete with custom license plates that read “JUST&T MRD.” It was the same model that the two drove away in from their first public date.
Swift and Travis had over 1,000 guests at their wedding earlier this month, including Tom Brady, Simone Biles, Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, and more. Stevie Nicks, Paul McCartney, and Avril Lavigne all performed at the star-studded reception.
The couple’s brothers had a special place in the wedding as Jason was Travis’ Best Man and Swift’s brother, Austin Swift, was the Man of Honor. Travis and Swift opted not to have any groomsmen or bridesmaids in their wedding.
While the couple was spotted celebrating with Travis’ former Kansas City Chiefs teammate JuJu Smith-Schuster and Laura Kruk at their wedding in California on July 10, they have not shared any photos from their own ceremony yet.
