Here’s how much cap space the Packers have as training camp nears

The Packers are set to open training camp, and still have some positions of need that could use an upgrade before the regular season kicks off in September.

Whether adding reliable depth at running back behind Josh Jacobs, or a pass rusher to bolster a premium position as Micah Parsons works his way back while opening the season on the PUP list, or stability in the secondary, general manager Brian Gutekunst and the Packers could still make an impactful move before Week 1 kicks off.

Packers’ remaining cap space revealed as training camp looms

As training camp approaches, Gutekunst and the Packers currently have $23.9 million in remaining cap space.

Whether it’s signing a pass rusher such as Haason Reddick or trading for Josh Sweat, money isn’t an obstacle for the Packers, at the moment.

If the Packers are looking to add veteran depth in the weeks ahead, Gutekunst has the 15th-most cap space at his disposal, which should be plenty to make a move if the organization believes its necessary.
