In a viral social-media video, a dog owner took her golden retriever to the aquarium to discover the underwater world—his reaction has melted hearts on social media.
The heartwarming footage, shared in September under the username @healthierwithhan, shows the poster taking her pup to a Miami Beach aquarium, a trip that the golden retriever seems to really appreciate. The excited pup can be seen smiling and waving his tail as a friendly dolphin, who seems just as excited to see the dog as he is, swims up to him performing tricks to impress him.
“Remember your dogs only get to see the world you show them,” the poster writes in the caption, as the pup keeps following the dolphin around trying to interact with him from behind the glass windows.

Experts say that canines can indeed tell the difference between other dogs and different species, including humans.
Pups use a mix of senses, vision, smell, and hearing, plus brain processing and social learning, to come to a conclusion about the animal that stands in front of them.
Moreover, research with mismatched sound-image tests shows dogs are surprised when a bark doesn’t match a canine’s face, indicating cross-modal recognition.
The video quickly went viral on social media and has so far received over 704,000 views and 240,000 likes on the platform.
One user, Luca, commented: “My dog barks at everything no matter how much we tried to train him. If only I could take him out to do stuff without it feeling like a humiliation ritual.”
Jackson posted: “Yall just train your dog. If they have problems going out it’s not their fault you just have to train them.”
Another user, Iluvgodv, wrote: “The only place my dog knows how to act is the vet but if every time we take him on a walk and he sees a dog he will get off the collar and bother them.”
JONNY added: “My dog would go feral over this.”
