Summertime is full of fun activities for everyone, and many people love to include their pets in the excitement. Whether it's an evening trip to the beach to catch the sunset or just cooling off at a splash pad, dogs everywhere are happy to make the most of the season.
As @lolathelabpup's latest TikTok video begins, Lola is hesitant to put more than a toe in the water. But it doesn't take long for her to throw caution to the wind and turn the afternoon into complete chaos once she discovers how much fun splashing around can be.
At first, the Chocolate Labrador wasn't quite sure what to make of the kiddie pool her mom had set up on the patio. After a few test dips with just a single paw, the pup quickly decided it was the best thing ever.

From that moment on, there was no stopping her. Lola raced back and forth across the patio, launching herself into and out of the kiddie pool with pure joy. Naturally, since every soaking-wet dog adventure has to end with an enormous shake-off, she did a few of those, too!

Lola's followers loved her swim session video just as much as the pup loved splashing around in her kiddie pool. One TikToker, @emilymusumeci, joked, "Oh, so all Chocolate Labs are crackheads in water, not just mine!"
Another Labrador parent, @raisingridge, admitted, "I wish this were Ridge 😂. He gets wet, and he’s running for anything he can roll and rub against." Lola's mom replied, saying, "She did, in fact, use me as that thing to rub against!"
There's something so pure and heartwarming about seeing something so simple bring your pup such joy. They ask for so little from us, and it's the least we can do to make sure they're living their best lives each and every day.
