Cheeto may be a tiny kitten, but he has a big personality! Watch as he leaps, hops, jumps, and plays all over his mom's duvet cover, delighting everyone.

There's no denying how cute kittens can be, especially when they're devoting all their manic energy to chasing and pouncing. In a funny TikTok video captioned "bro lowkey scares me when he's like this" — that's been viewed more than 4.5 million times and racked up over a million likes — a ginger kitten named Cheeto jumps, pounces, and attacks on top of the duvet. His acrobatic leaps entertain his owner, whose legs are underneath the covers.

Viewers couldn't get enough of the tiny orange kitten with the hugely expressive eyes. "Look at the little face 🥺🥺🥺," wrote one, and another observed, "The tiny tail in the air 😭 that's illegal levels of cute." One netizen attempted to channel Cheeto's thoughts, writing, "I am a lion! Grrrr!" and another lamented, "Why can't they stay that small forever." A viewer called the kitten a "spicy little gremlin," and Cheeto's owner agreed, responding, "He really is a 12am chaos gremlin."

Many viewers of the TikTok video were not at all surprised to see a ginger cat acting feisty, calling it typical orange tabby cat behavior. "Just orange being orange," said one netizen, and another quipped, "His orange gene was activated 🥺." But is there actually an orange cat personality?

Ginger cats are not a specific breed. Orange kitties can be Persians, Maine coons, Bengals, Abyssinians, or a whole host of other breeds. But, because of a quirk of genetics, about 80% of ginger cats are male, which might help explain some of the bold, friendly, and playful behaviors often believed to be associated with orange felines. No matter what science says, many owners of ginger cats will continue to list the reasons that orange tabby cats are the best tabby cats. As one netizen noted about Cheeto, "He is so orange."
