Cats don't exactly speak the same language as we do, but they don't struggle at all to let us know when we've done something they don't think is right. And they can be pretty relentless in making sure we understand why they're so upset. When you combine that with an Orange Cat, which is known for being a little extra sassy, well, it leads to some interesting events.
In this video, we meet an Orange Cat who reacts the same way every time his mom sneezes. He makes it crystal clear that he objects to the noise, and he conveys that with a judgmental look and a dramatic head turn, as if she's purposely trying to upset him. Take a look!
TikTok user Danilane (@danilainerubot) shared a video of the Orange Cat, who was taking a nap, minding his own business, and looking super peaceful during his rest. Well, until his snooze was interrupted by his mom, who had the audacity to sneeze.
The Orange Cat, named Doodle, reacted like a typical Orange Kitty annoyed by something and responded with cat rage. He turns his head, chirps a few times, and sort of rolls his eyes like he's so frustrated at what his mama had the gall to do. And it's so funny.

In the comments, people had a lot to say about this silly cat's pure hatred of his mom's sneeze.
One person wrote, "My guy HATES it when I sneeze. He gets so mad, meows, and gets the biggest stink-eye look. The audacity... of a sneeze."
Another added, "My Tabby girl does this every single time I sneeze. She hates it, then meow screams at me."

Why Some Cats React So Dramatically to Sneezes and Other Sudden Noises
Doodle clearly has something against sneezes that bothers him right to his core. And while it may be hilarious to watch in these clips, and probably in real life, too, he's not the only kitty who reacts dramatically to these sounds.
According to Catster, there are typically four reasons why your cat will meow or yell at you after you sneeze, and all of them are kind of funny, really.
The first reason the experts give is that they're startled, which makes sense if they were asleep and wake up abruptly to your loud sneeze. They explain that the noise isn't necessarily because you scared them; they were simply not expecting the sound, which triggered their fight-or-flight response.
The second reason is hilarious and probably what Doodle will do when he replies to his mom's sneezes. Cats are known to be sassy, Catster notes, and if you make a noise they don't care for, they get annoyed. And that sneeze you do, which wakes them up from a nap or takes their focus away from whatever else they were doing, they're not a fan, and don't hesitate to let you know.
The other two reasons why your feline friend might react to your sneeze or other sudden noises with a loud meow or yell are that they might think you're hissing at them, so they return that energy to you. Or your cat is pretending to be a human, and they know humans say something back to other people after a sneeze, so since they can't say "bless you" in English, they do it in cat instead.
While we can't be sure what Doodle is really thinking or what his intention is when he returns a noise to his mom's sneeze, any one of these reasons could explain it—or even all of them, really.
