It's almost impossible not to fall in love with kittens. Their tiny little "mews," soft floofy bodies, and insatiable curiosity make them instant cuddle magnets. From the minute they wake up with that bleary-eyed look on their face til they can't keep their eyes open at night, these feline fur babies are completely irresistible.
Boomer the orange kitten is a perfect example of that over-the-top cuteness with his morning bed head that's making everyone swoon.
In the TikTok from @krmit7861, the pretty kitty had just woken up and was still a bit groggy. Boomer was snuggled in his cozy cat bed and let out an irritated "mew" at being roused out of a sound sleep, but it was impossible to take him too seriously.
What stood out the most on Boomer was that adorable, mussed up red hair on his head, along with the rest of his fur sticking out in all directions. He could easily be compared to everything from an orange powder puff to a ginger cotton ball. It's safe to say no one broke out a comb to tamp down his coat because it was just too cute to fix.
Followers gushed over Boomer's charm, with some likening him to a few colorful snack foods:
- "My goodness he's precious," one raved.
- "Cute little fluffy Dorito," another remarked.
- "Just a Puff of cheese," a follower pointed out.
- "I want to pet that baby immediately," someone posted.
- "Cheeto puff," a fan commented.
Why Orange Cats Are So Beloved
Orange cats have always been a popular pick of pet parents, mainly because of their playful personality and affectionate nature. They thrive when they're around loved ones, are highly social, and create strong bonds with other humans and fur babies.

These orange felines form especially close attachments to their family members and prefer cuddling or playing with them rather than being on their own. Most orange cats are male, with male cats being known as more affectionate and social than females.
Then there's that eye-catching orange coat, always making these kitties stand out in a crowd.
With just one look at Boomer, it's easy to understand why orange cats are a feline favorite.
