A Fox News host suggested Erika Kirk has significantly influenced Usha Vance, something which has drawn criticism from viewers.
During the Fox News broadcast on July 20, Fox and Friends host Ainsley Earhardt, 49, announced the birth of baby boy Alec Neel Vance. On July 19, Vice President JD Vance, 41, and Usha Vance, 40, welcomed their fourth child. The couple has two other sons, Ewan and Vivek, and one daughter, Mirabel.
Earhardt suggested Kirk, 37, encouraged the second lady to have her fourth child and potentially more. This comes as the couple made history with their recent announcement.

Earhardt stated, "Erika Kirk really influenced Usha. She said that Erika had said she wished she had had more children with Charlie Kirk, which helped lead their decision to expand their family and become a family of six."
The host added, "She and Erika Kirk are very, very close. And Charlie and Erika were always talking about expanding families. They were pro-family. And I feel that this White House has been just championing family values."
Viewers, however, turned to social media to criticize Kirk's connection with Vance. They felt she should not have interfered in private matters that don't concern her, reports the Mirror US.
One viewer commented, "That is so cringe. On many levels. Red flag alert." Meanwhile, another person stated, "Pretty pathetic that a cult lady - the wife of a murdered bigot - is the one influencing family planning for the VP."
A third person wrote, "None of your damn business, actually. Why are you getting involved, Erika? It's not your kid!"
Despite the backlash, Kirk received support from one individual who commented, "Mazel tov on the birth of your little man. May blessings rain down on your growing family."
The vice president and second lady announced the news through a joint social media post the day before. The couple revealed their son had arrived earlier that morning and confirmed both Usha and the newborn were in good health.
"We are excited to announce that our baby boy, Alec Neel Vance, was born this morning," the pair wrote. "Usha and the baby are happy and healthy, and our kids are overjoyed to meet their little brother."
The couple also expressed gratitude toward the medical professionals who provided care throughout the pregnancy and delivery.
"The incredible military doctors and staff members of Walter Reed Medical Center and the White House Medical Unit have been a blessing," they added. "We are deeply thankful for all they have done for our family."
