The Florence Pugh and Finn Cole engagement rumors rage on. After nearly a year of speculation, Pugh added more fuel to the fire when she and her beau stepped out for a rare, loved-up outing in New York City yesterday. Fans spied with their little eyes her rumored engagement ring on that finger.
The Don’t Worry Darling star looked effortlessly cool in high-rise light-wash jeans, a gray straight-neck tank top that revealed her teal-and-pink triangle bra below, baby blue sneakers with a gum sole, and a brown suede bag. She accessorized to the max with a green baseball cap, narrow black shades, layers of chain necklaces, a gold watch, gold hoop earrings, and a smattering of rings—among them being a chunky gold-and-diamond ring on her left ring finger. The 30-year-old actress threw her golden blonde hair into a casual low bun and wore rosy makeup.
Meanwhile, the Peaky Blinders alum matched his boo’s energy in baggy striped corduroy pants, a boxy white graphic T-shirt, pink Adidas sneakers, a blue baseball cap, orange-tinted shades, and a canvas tote bag.
Their outing comes on the heels of Pugh wearing the alleged ring while attending Cynthia Erivo’s one-woman Dracula show in February. She accented her gothic semi-sheer black velour Patou gown with the bling.
Pugh and Cole have been friends for several years, with the actress even leaving comments on Cole’s Instagram posts back in 2017. A sweet outing at Glastonbury Festival in June 2024 signaled their relationship had taken a romantic turn. They stepped out again at The Perfect Couple premiere after-party in September of that year, where they were reportedly seen holding hands. They followed up the glamorous soiree with a slate of casual London sightings.
Despite these outings, they have kept a low profile, and neither party has addressed engagement rumors. The Midsommar star did, however, confirm she was in a relationship during a September 2024 interview with British Vogue. “Yes. We are figuring what we actually are. And I think for the first time, I’m not allowing myself to go on a roller coaster,” she said. “I’m allowing myself to take time to let something evolve and let it be completely real to its core, as opposed to racing into that.” During an April 2025 interview with Harper’s Bazaar UK, she said she was “currently in love,” though she once again did not name Cole.
