The Dallas Wings are on the road Wednesday night as they travel to take on the Portland Fire in a Western Conference matchup in their final game before the All-Star break.
Dallas enters Wednesday’s game with a 17-9 record after losing at home in overtime to the New York Liberty on Monday night.
In Monday’s loss to the Liberty, Arike Ogunbowale led the way for the Wings as she recorded 29 points, five rebounds and six assists while Jessica Shepard added 13 points, 16 rebounds and six assists of her own.
The Wings will try to bounce back Wednesday as they face off against the Fire in a tough road matchup.
Portland enters Wednesday’s contest with an 11-15 record after losing on the road to the Minnesota Lynx on Saturday night.
Bridget Carleton led the way for the Fire in Saturday’s loss as she ended the game with 22 points, eight rebounds, four assists and three steals while Carla Leite recorded 21 points, four rebounds and seven assists.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Wednesday night’s matchup, one may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
Wings Injury Report: Will Paige Bueckers, Alanna Smith Play?
The Wings have two players listed on their injury report as they have listed Paige Bueckers and Alanna Smith as questionable.
Dallas has listed Bueckers as questionable due to rest and she is in danger of missing her second consecutive contest.
The Wings have listed Smith as questionable due to a right leg injury and she is in danger of missing her third straight game.
Fire Injury Report
The Fire have only one player listed on their injury report for Wednesday as they have ruled out Sania Feagin.
Portland has ruled out Feagin as she will miss the remainder of the season with a torn ACL in her left knee.
