Alongside confirming the September 4 release date, 2K's official FAQ answered one of the biggest questions surrounding NBA 2K27—and confirmed the end of old-gen support.
According to the official FAQ, NBA 2K27 will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC via Steam. Noticeably absent are PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, making NBA 2K26 the final entry released on the previous generation of consoles. After years of supporting both generations simultaneously, 2K has officially shifted its focus entirely to current-generation hardware.
