New York enters Wednesday’s contest with a 14-12 record after defeating the Dallas Wings on the road in overtime Monday night to snap their four-game losing skid.
Breanna Stewart led the way for the Liberty in Monday’s victory as she ended the game with 33 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists while Sabrina Ionescu recorded 21 points and four rebounds.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Wednesday night’s matchup, each may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
Sky Injury Report: Will Skylar Diggins, DiJonai Carrington Play?
The Sky have three players listed on their injury report, including Skylar Diggins and DiJonai Carrington.
Chicago has ruled out Diggins due to a right knee injury as she will miss her seventh consecutive contest and there is no timetable for her return.
The Sky have also ruled out Carrington as she remains sidelined while recovering from left foot surgery she underwent in the offseason while Rickea Jackson will miss the remainder of the season with a torn ACL.
Liberty Injury Report: Will Satou Sabally, Marine Johannes Play?
The Liberty have three players listed on their injury report as well, including Satou Sabally and Marine Johannes.
New York has ruled out Sabally due to a concussion as she will miss her ninth consecutive game and there is no timetable for her return.
The Liberty have also ruled out Leonie Fiebich as she will miss her sixth straight game with a left foot injury.
Johannes has been listed as questionable due to a left ankle injury and she is in danger of missing her second consecutive contest.
