WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Adoption fees at the Brandywine Valley SPCA (BVSPCA) will be waived this week to celebrate National Adoption Week.
BVSPCA is partnering with PetSmart in an effort to help families find their new furry family member.
This week, through July 26, adoption fees will be waived for dogs weighing more than 40 lbs and cats older than 6 months.
Prospective adopters should attend these adoption events, held at PetSmart, to meet adoptable dogs and cats:
- Wednesday, July 22, 3-7 p.m.:
- PetSmart Greenbelt, 7475 Greenbelt Rd., Greenbelt, MD 20770
- Thursday, July 23, 2-6 p.m. (Kitten Adoption Event):
