MACKAY — The Custer County Coroner has identified two people who were killed in a crash between an SUV and a motorhome near Mackay.
According to Coroner Chad Workman, the two people who were killed on July 13 were identified as Tony Luna, 61 of Arco, and Loretta Johnson, 58 of Arco.

According to a news release from the Idaho State Police, the crash happened at 10:12 a.m. on U.S. Highway 93 near milepost 104.
Police say Luna was driving a 2000 GMC Yukon, with Johnson as a passenger, and failed to yield while turning from North 4100 West onto US-93.
He hit a 73-year-old California man headed south in a 2022 Allegro Motorhome.
Although everyone involved was wearing a seatbelt, both Luna and Johnson were killed. The man in the motorhome wasn’t hurt.
Both lanes were closed while crews worked to clear the scene.
Those who helped in the response include the Custer County Sheriff’s Office, the Idaho Department of Transportation, the South Custer Fire Department, and the Mackay Fire Department.
