Christina Aguilera and her fiancé, Matthew Rutler, enjoyed a star-studded date night on July 19. The long-term couple attended Todd Graves’s celebrity party at Sartiano's in New York City—and packed on the PDA.
In one photo, the pair posed together on a couch, with Rutler resting his arm over Aguilera’s shoulder as she leaned into him. She donned a black-and-white Vaquera top, a white miniskirt, black knee-high boots, and sunglasses, while he wore a black shirt, dark pants, and white sneakers.
Other celebrity attendees included Mick Jagger, Matt Damon, Luciana Barroso, Mason Thames, and more.
The NYC outing marked the couple’s first public appearance since April 18, when they attended the 12th Breakthrough Prize Ceremony in Santa Monica, California. While walking the red carpet, they displayed even more PDA when he kissed her cheek in several snapshots.
Aguilera, 45, and Rutler, 41, have been engaged since 2014 and share one 12-year-old daughter, Summer Rutler. The “Genie In a Bottle” singer also shares an 18-year-old son, Max Bratman, with her ex-husband, Jordan Bratman, whom she was married to from 2005 to 2011.
Over the years, Rutler has shared kind words about Aguilera on social media. Last May, he penned a heartwarming tribute to the singer for Mother’s Day.
Alongside a video montage of the couple, he wrote, “Happy Mother’s Day @xtina to the most incredible woman and mom I know. Watching you pour your love, strength, and creativity into our family is the greatest gift. From our travel adventures to late night White Lotus marathons, every moment with you is magic. Summer and Max are so lucky to have you—and so am I. We love you beyond words. ❤️.”
And though they’ve been engaged for more than a decade, the pair is in no rush to get married.
The Burlesque star previously told People, “Having just moved into a beautiful new home we call ‘the Sanctuary,’ having a baby, and now being so excited to get back to work [on The Voice], I have my hands full, and am not in a rush to set a date. I want to plan it and cherish the moment, while not feeling rushed.”
