BROOKVILLE, Md. (DC News Now) — Fire officials said that a car and its occupant got stuck in flood water on Tuesday evening.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) units responded to the 1900 block of Brighton Dam Rd. around 9:05 p.m. for a car that was trapped in about two feet of flood water.
The woman inside the car was not able to get out on her own.
Crews were able to rescue her. She was uninjured and declined medical transport.
MCFRS said that as of 9:25 p.m., the car was still in the flood water. Police closed that stretch of Brighton Dam Road to traffic.
