Canastota starts America's 250th celebration with pool party

Canastota is celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States with five days of events starting on Wednesday, July 22.

On Wednesday night there will be a 'Red, White & Pool 'party for kids at the village pool on Spencer Street. It runs from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. There is music, free open swim, snacks, games and a sprinkler provided by the Canastota Fire Department.
