The Indiana Fever have won their last two games against the Seattle Storm and New York Liberty. After surviving a tight 110-107 affair against the Storm, the team proceeded to blow out New York 108-88.
Caitlin Clark was impressive in both games, even making history against the Storm by recording the WNBA's first-ever 45-point, 10-assist game. Meanwhile, against the Liberty, she recorded 17 points and seven assists.
On Sunday, Clark made a post on Instagram for the first time in a week to celebrate the Fever's recent success. She shared several photos of herself from their last two games, along with the caption, "home dubs with the girls."
Sure enough, Clark's post quickly drew plenty of reactions, with her fellow Fever teammates showering her with love.
"rockin’ n rollin’ 22," Kelsey Mitchell commented. Fever rookie Raven Johnson added, "Mamacita."
Indiana forward Makayla Timpson had huge praise for Clark, calling her one of the greatest players of all time: "the goat herself."
Aliyah Boston, for her part, stated: "my favvvv."
Clark's former Iowa teammate and now Los Angeles Sparks guard Kate Martin took notice of the Fever guard's photos of her signature shoes and wrote, "New shoes been treating you nice."
Clark certainly has every reason to be happy as Indiana continues to find its rhythm. The Fever improved to 16-10 on the season with their back-to-back victories, keeping them in the top six in the standings.
The Fever will play the Connecticut Sun on Wednesday before the All-Star break. With momentum on their side, hopes are high that Clark and company can extend their winning streak and enter the break on a positive note.
