It’s honestly diabolical.
Sam’s Club has become well known for its cake pops, which are now sold in a variety of flavors ranging from banana crème to birthday cake. Members are a huge fan of these mini treats due to their texture and flavor, not to mention how much cheaper they are compared to Starbucks’ cake pops.
Now, the warehouse club has released an all-new pack of flavors that has our jaws on the floor.
Mystery Flavored Cake Pops Launch at Sam’s Club
Sam’s just released new Member’s Mark Mystery Cake Pops with flavors that are extremely out of the ordinary. The unique cake flavors are pineapple, blue raspberry, and dill pickle.
Yes, you read that right—it’s dill pickle-flavored cake. Each cake pop, no matter the flavor, is dipped in a bright green frosting with sprinkles and dusted with a sour sugar, making it impossible to decipher which flavor you’re about to bite into. The product page reads, “Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, treating yourself, or planning a ‘mystery’ tasting, these cake pops are sure to bring smiles to every moment.”
While the two fruit-forward flavors seem to be a hit, the pickle one is (unsurprisingly) shocking shoppers. Instagram user @samsclubmembers wrote, “I’m not a pickle lover and I didn’t think it was THAT BAD...”
It’s unknown how many flavors of each end up in the 14-count box—but that’s all part of the mystery. Priced at $17.74, it’s only 80 cents per cake pop making them significantly cheaper than the $3.25 Starbucks ones (even if you don’t end up loving the pickle pops).
Take a risk with your dessert and pick up a box of these jaw-dropping desserts. And if you’re a huge pickle lover, these might become a new favorite.
