Capuchin Monkey Pelt is one of the resources in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced required to craft the Pistol Ammo Pouch upgrade. There are only two locations far south of the map where you can find Capuchin Monkeys, which you won't come across if you aren't keen on exploration.

How to Get Capuchin Monkey Pelt in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced
Capuchin Monkey Location
Players can find the Capuchin Monkey in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced on Misteriosa Island (269, 173) and the New Bone Island (402, 89). Both of these islands are located in the Serranilla region, which can be found at the southern end of the map. If you've reached any of these islands, make sure to synchronize at their respective viewpoints to see the Capuchin Monkey icon pop up on the map.
Once you approach the area indicated on the map with Capuchin Monkeys, make sure to equip the Sleep Dart. Now, go into Eagle Vision mode and look up into the trees. You'll eventually see the red outline of the Capuchin Monkey sitting on one of the branches. Get close to the monkey and shoot a Sleep Dart at it.
Once you inject the monkey with a Sleep Dart, it'll fall to the ground. Now, all you need to do is approach the unconscious animal, and you'll get a Capuchin Monkey pelt from its body in AC Black Flag Resynced.
There have been reports of the Capuchin Monkey not spawning for many players in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced. If something similar happens to you, you should try fast-traveling to another region and pass the time. Once you're done, return to the area, and you'll be able to spawn the Capuchin Monkey.
Additionally, make sure to look in the area around the monkey's icon on the map, as they're usually scattered around the trees.
Purchasing Capuchin Monkey Pelts
If you need some Capuchin Monkey pelts quickly and can't be bothered to go hunting for them, visit any General Store near you. Players will be able to purchase 1x Capuchin Monkey skin in exchange for 4x Bones.

Upgrade Pistol Ammo Pouch
The Capuchin Monkey pelt can be used to upgrade your Pistol Ammo Pouch in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced. This will increase the number of pistols you can carry, allowing Edward to shoot three consecutive shots before needing to reload.
Purchase "Peaceful Means" Legendary Pistol
Another use of the Capuchin Monkey pelt is that it allows players to purchase the legendary "Peaceful Means" pistol from the Treasure Dealer in Great Inagua. To purchase the pistol, you'll need 3x Capuchin Monkey Pelt, alongside 4x Iguana Leather and 20x Rum Barrels.
It's one of the unique pistols in the game due to its perk that basically silences pistol shots, making it a great tool if you prefer approaching missions with a stealth approach.
