Warning: This article contains spoilers from the Black Clover manga.Black Clover has done a good job for itself in continuously scaling up its threats through the final chapters of its manga. This has proven to be an especially interesting challenge since, in a world utterly governed by magic and the ability to harness it, Asta's Anti-Magic should hypothetically make him a natural disruptor difficult to counter. Instead of simply having more powerful magic, the various villains threatening the Clover Kingdom and indeed the world have had to rely on strength in numbers, before even considering other mighty threats Asta wasn't able to fight himself.
This means early Black Clover villains like Revchi Salik of the first arc don't even come close to breaking the top 10, with a demonstrable threat scope and raw power, often thanks either to the backing of powerful devils or even Soul Magic. It's made for some truly harrowing fights with spectacular finishes, though, and more than one glorious upset as the Black Bulls, other Clover Kingdom Magic Knights, and allies from surrounding kingdoms have had to chip in against invasive nations and outright existential threats. Below are the strongest villains in Black Clover, as of the manga's conclusion.
Dante Zogratis
As Dante Zogratis was the oldest among the Dark Triad, many fans believed that he was the strongest among them. But evidently, he was the weakest. It is true that he possessed the highest-ranking devil, Lucifero's Gravity Magic, but compared to other Dark Triad members, his Body Magic was not as impressive as Bone and Blood Magic.
This might be why manga creator Yuki Tabata must have paired him up against Magna. Not to mention, Lucifero also had Moris as a backup, further solidifying Dante as the weakest among the Dark Triad.
Vanica Zogratis
While Vanica Zogratis wasn't the most powerful Dark Triad member, she was quite strong. She not only possessed her own Blood Magic, but as a devil host, could also use Megicula's Curse-Warding Magic.
With her dual mana attributes, Vanica could not only use her Blood Magic to generate and manipulate blood, but also use her Curse-Warding Magic to harm her enemies and enhance her allies. Not to mention, it took the collective effort of Noelle, Gaja, Charlotte, and Rill to defeat her.
Zenon Zogratis
Zenon Zogratis was arguably the strongest Dark Triad member. In fact, when he was when he was a child, he was recognized to have a greater aptitude for devil powers than Dante and Vanica.
As a devil host, he not only had his own Magic attribute, Bone Magic, but also Beelzebub's Spatial Magic. Another thing that proves Zenon was the strongest Dark Triad is that he never once lost control over his devil powers and always retained his sanity up until his death.
Paladin Damnatio Kira
For the longest time, Damnatio Kira worked as the Chairman of the Clover Kingdom's Magic Parliament. While earlier, he possessed the Scale Magic, after Lucius took control over his body and turned him into a Paladin, he also possessed one of the highest-ranking devils, Baal's Atmosphere Magic.
While Paladin Damnatio Kira did not last for too long, it took the collective effort of the Black Bulls to hold him down. Not to mention, the Paladin could only be defeated after Asta showed up from the Hino Country.
Paladin Moris Libardirt
Moris Libardirt was once a Magic Scholar from Diamond Kingdom, who, after being exiled, started working for the Dark Triad. During the events of the Spade Kingdom Raid Arc, he became a host to Lucifero, but was later left crippled after the Magic Knights defeated the devil.
In the final arc, Lucius Zogratis recreated Moris's body using his siblings' Body, Blood, and Bone Magic. Not long after, he incarnated a purified devil within him, turning him into a Paladin capable of using both his own Body Modification Magic and the Devil's Earth Magic. While Moris didn't defeat anyone, he nearly managed to erase Mereoleona from existence.
Paladin Acier Silva
Similar to Morgen, Noelle's mother, Acier Silva, had passed away years ago. She had been cursed by Megicula and was in a weakened state. As a result, during her childbirth with Noelle, she passed away.
However, Lucius Zogratis later resurrected her and incarnated a purified devil within her, making her a Paladin. As such, Paladin Acier Silva ended up having dual mana attributes. She not only possessed her own Steel Magic but also the devil's Water Magic. These attributes alongside her near-immortal Paladin body made her one of the strongest villains in Black Clover's final arc.
Paladin Morgen Faust
As fans would know, Nacht's brother, Morgen Faust, passed away years ago trying to protect his brother from summoning one of the highest-ranking devils, Lucifugus. However, Lucius Zogratis saw his potential and resurrected him as a Paladin.
When Lucius made Morgen a Paladin, he incarnated the very devil that caused his death within him, Lucifugus. Ever since, Morgen has access to his own Light Magic and the devil's Dark Magic. As the two Magic attributes were highly compatible with each other, Morgen ended up becoming one of the strongest Paladins.
Megicula
Similar to Lucifero, Megicula is one of the highest-ranking devils in the underworld. As she has Curse-Warding Magic, she is able to use malevolent curses to harm enemies. Not to mention, after taking control over Vanica's body and Acier's mind, she also acquired Blood and Steel Magic.
Notably, Megicula made use of all her Magic attributes in the fight against the Magic Knights and Gaja. Had it not been for Nozel Silva's sudden appearance, Noelle and others wouldn't have been able to defeat the devil.
Lucifero
Lucifero is the highest-ranking devil and one of the three rulers of the underworld. As he has Gravity Magic, he can drastically increase the gravity of the surrounding area with a gesture. In addition, he can warp space to avoid attacks or tear apart magic.
As fans must recall, when the Magic Knights faced off against the Supreme Devil, they were severly outmatched in strength. As such, it is very easy to decipher that he is one of the strongest villains in Black Clover. The shocking part is that Lucifero was only using half of his strength at the time, meaning he was far more powerful.
Lucius Zogratis
Lucius Zogratis is arguably the strongest villain in Black Clover. While he already possessed Soul Magic, he later also acquired his siblings' Body, Blood, and Bone Magic. Not to mention, he also has Astaroth's Time Magic and went to the underworld to acquire Lucifero's Gravity Magic.
While Lucius was already overpowered due to these Magic attributes, during Judgment Day, he again powered up by transforming himself into the "Magic Great Emperor." This transformation allowed him to use Magic attributes of all the people who have come and gone in the Clover Kingdom. As such, he is clearly the strongest villain in Black Clover.
