Caitlin Clark set yet another WNBA record, becoming the first player in history to record at least 40 points and 10 assists.

Caitlin Clark set yet another all-time WNBA record last week, becoming the first player in league history to record at least 40 points and 10 assists in a single game.

Clark put together a 45-point, 10-assist performance in a 110-107 win over the Seattle Storm on Friday, connecting on six of her 10 attempts from behind the 3-point arc. She also chipped in with two rebounds, two blocks and four steals.

On Tuesday, the WNBA announced Clark as the Eastern Conference Player of the Week. Through three games last week, the Indiana Fever point guard averaged 25 points and 7.7 assists per game.

“Another monster week for CC. Caitlin Clark earns Eastern Conference Player of the Week honors in Week 9 after averaging 25.0 PPG, 2.3 RPG, and 7.7 APG for the @IndianaFever!” the league wrote in an announcement on social media.

“Some nights, like, you know you have it — even before the ball tips,” Clark said after her historic 45-point performance, via ESPN. “I felt like it was going to be one of those for me.

“I feel like you just have to believe you’re going to have those type of nights, and you have to visualize having those types of nights. And I feel like that’s what I did.”
