The Indiana Fever are now 16-10 after winning back-to-back games. This past week, they went 2-1, which is thanks in large part to the strong play of Caitlin Clark.
The 24-year-old erased any doubt about her health following a brief spell on the sidelines due to a back injury. On Saturday, Clark turned in a historic performance, becoming the first WNBA player to register 45 points and 10 assists in a game. Her heroics resulted in a 110-107 win over the Seattle Storm.
Clark followed that up with a 17-point, seven-assist performance on Saturday. She played twice in two nights and was instrumental in Indiana’s 108-88 blowout win against the New York Liberty.
Caitlin Clark named AP Player of the Week
Clark received another honor on Monday. This was after the Associated Press named her as the Player of the Week for July 13 to 19. During this three-game stretch, the 6-foot guard averaged 25.0 points on 43.5% shooting, to go along with 7.7 assists and 2.3 rebounds.
The Fever shared the big news on Instagram.

The fans quickly sent their congratulatory messages to Clark for her latest feat.

Clark will want to keep that momentum going heading into their next game. The Fever are back in action on Wednesday for their final contest before the WNBA All-Star break.
Clark and Co. will face the Connecticut Sun in a home matchup, with tipoff from Gainbridge Fieldhouse scheduled for 8:00 p.m. ET.
