What to know about HGTV’s ‘Sin City Rehab’ season 2

Alison Victoria is gearing up to work on more exciting renovation and design projects in Las Vegas.

Victoria will soon return to HGTV with a brand-new season of her latest series, Sin City Rehab. Season 1 of the Windy City Rehab spinoff, which premiered last year, followed Victoria as she expanded her Chicago-based business to Las Vegas, taking on everything from multi-million-dollar projects to house flips and more.

“Vegas has always been home to me. I moved here when I was 19. I went to college here. I started my design firm here and got my first big jobs here. This is such a place of happiness for me,” Victoria previously told TV Insider after moving her business to Vegas. “When I’m in Chicago, I would only be able to come back a couple of times a year. Those times were just the happiest times.”

Victoria said the show was all about “trying to get back out West,” adding, “I’ve been really longing for it for a while and working towards it. When your life is all in Chicago, it’s very difficult. It’s almost like you need to have a hard stop and fully dive in. At this place in my life, I knew it wasn’t going to be easy. I’m not going to be able to show up and be like, ‘You know I’m on television, so I should get jobs.’ I’m established as a designer. I’ve been designing since I was a little girl. It’s all I’ve ever wanted.”

In May, HGTV announced that the show would return for a second season. “I’m backkkkk… @sincityrehab Season 2 premieres Oct 7th on @hgtv,” Victoria captioned an Instagram video of herself at a potential filming site.

Has Season 2 of Sin City Rehab started filming?

Victoria first hinted that production on Season 2 was underway by sharing a video of herself on what looked like a filming site in celebration of the show’s renewal news. She further teased that she is currently filming the new episodes by posting several Instagram pics of herself outside of the Four Queens Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

“Who’s ready for Sin City Rehab season 2?! October 7th 9/8c can’t come soon enough!!” she captioned the July 21 post.
