Fox News‘ Guy Benson shared a big family update on social media earlier this week. He and his husband welcomed a baby girl.
“She’s here, and she’s perfect,” Benson captioned his Instagram post on July 20. “We are blessed and overjoyed to welcome Madison Halsey into the world and into our family. Our hearts are filled to the brim. A baby girl. We are just so thankful. 7.15.26.”
With the post, the political analyst shared a photo of him holding his newborn in a hospital bed. The next was of his husband, Adam Wise, a talent agent, holding Madison while feeding her a bottle.
Benson also shared a photo of him and the new baby as he smiled for the camera. Then, there was just a photo of Madison in her stroller in their house. The last photo was a late-night photo of the dad and daughter as Madison slept.
This is Benson and Wise’s second child, as they welcomed their son, Conrad James, via surrogate in 2023. They never show Conrad’s face on social media, often covering it up with an emoji. The couple got married in 2019.
The post quickly reached over 12,000 likes and an outpouring of love from his fellow Fox News coworkers and fellow politicians. UN Ambassador Nikki Haley, Fox News host Dana Perino, and political commentator SE Cupp also wished them congratulations.
” I can’t love these photos enough!!!! So perfect!!!! Congratulations!!!! Love to you all,” a follower said.
“I’m crying with happiness for you all,” another wrote.
“So thrilled for you (and your extended family!)…love the values you bring to society as a family!! Congratulations and best wishes to all!!!” a third added.
“Enjoy… and remember … sleep is overrated,” another joked.
Benson joined Fox in 2013. He currently hosts The Guy Benson Show on Fox News Radio. Benson is also a guest and frequent substitute on many Fox shows, including Fox & Friends, America’s Newsroom, Outnumbered, The Story with Martha MacCallum, Special Report, Gutfeld!, The Big Weekend Show, Media Buzz, Fox News Sunday, The Evening Edit, and The Bottom Line.
He came out as gay in 2015 in his book End of Discussion: How the Left’s Outrage Industry Shuts Down Debate, Manipulates Voters, and Makes America Less Free (and Fun), where he wrote in a footnote, “Guy here. So, I’m gay.”
