Once he is done with basketball, perhaps Draymond Green could become an agent. He has been consistently aggressive in trying to convince LeBron James to sign with the Golden State Warriors in free agency.
They recently went on vacation in Puerto Rico, where Green personally made his pitch to James. After trying to kill each other during the peak of the rivalry between the Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers, Green and James have developed a tight friendship in recent years.
On his podcast, the 36-year-old Green said he can envision the 41-year-old James running the plays for Golden State, a role the former Defensive Player of the Year is quite familiar with. He added that he can find other ways to help even if he is not the facilitator anymore.

“I’ll always have that ability to go get in the pick-and-roll and make some plays, but if you got LeBron James and Steph Curry in a pick-and-roll, you better go find a role. You better go find a spot so you can be valuable,” said the veteran forward on his podcast.
“So, if those two guys are in a pick-and-roll, for me, the most valuable spot’s going to be for me is to be in the corner. I think so oftentimes, you idiots think like it’s actually the problem in the NBA, where y’all like, ‘Oh man, this guy can do this, he can do that.’ There are roles, and if you cannot figure out how to play a role, you usually fail.”
Green doubled down on his previous remark that he can be the “greatest corner three-point shooter ever” if he plays alongside James.
Green helped the Warriors win four titles with his defense, tenacity, and playmaking. During his prime, he could completely impact a game without even scoring, willingly taking a backseat to Curry, Kevin Durant, and Klay Thompson.
The four-time champion is widely considered among the best role players in league history.
