If you enjoyed watching the 2026 Open Championship on TV, perhaps you're now inspired to go in person in 2027. And there'd be no better place for that than at the Home of Golf: St. Andrews in Scotland.
Now's your chance to take that first step to get tickets, as the ballot is now open. But you better act fast, as it's scheduled to close Friday, July 24.
The R&A wants anyone interested to first join their online One Club, and that's free to do. Here are some of things to know about the ticket ballot, from the R&A:
- The Ticket Ballot is the primary way to apply for general admission tickets
- Apply for up to four tickets per day, including Adult, Youth, Junior and Carer tickets
- Juniors (under 16) go FREE when attending with an adult. Free Junior tickets must be included in your ballot application
- Adding a Practice Day ticket may improve your chances of success
- Your application may be fully successful, partially successful or unsuccessful, depending on ticket availability.
- Please only apply for tickets you would be happy to purchase. If your application is successful, you'll need to buy your allocated tickets in full – individual tickets within an allocation cannot be removed.
