BLAINE, Minn. -- Minnesota is known as the Land of 10,000 lakes, so it's no surprise TPC Twin Cities, host of this week's 3M Open on the PGA Tour, is known for its slew of watery graves.
There are 27 bodies of water at the golf course with 15 of the 18 holes featuring some liquid trouble lurking somewhere.
During the 2025 season, TPC Twin Cities gobbled up the second-most water balls on the tournament schedule. TPC Sawgrass was first (probably no surprise) with another Florida course – PGA National – coming in third. Then it's a course in the desert – TPC Scottsdale at No. 4 with the host venue of the Mexico Open rounding out the top five.

TPC Twin Cities did come in first in one water ball stat in 2025: the 3M Open's second round a year ago had the most single-day collection with 95 balls in the drink.
The golf course measures 7,431 yards and is the 18th longest out of 49 courses used on the PGA tour.
