On today’s The Young and the Restlessrecap:

Victoria Thinks Phyllis’ Connection to Matt Is Disgusting

Nick and Victoria are at the GCAC discussing the ridiculousness of Phyllis and Matt Clark being a thing. Nick says he caught them making out like teenagers which Victoria rightfully finds disgusting. She thinks the deserve each other, but Nick says no one deserves Matt. Victoria is all out of compassion for Phyllis even though she assisted in saving his life. She thinks Nick’s ex-wife is a master class in self-destruction (a good line). She mentions Summer and Daniel wanting their mother out of their lives and then questions whether Nick still has feelings for Phyllis… and wonders if he is jealous.

Matt Wants Phyllis to Leave Town With Him on The Young and the Restless

Matt and Phyllis are upstairs in her GCAC room. He says he forgives her for all she’s done to him but is still set on leaving town as he wants to start a new life. Matt thinks she should come with him and Phyllis questions his means to do so. She goes on to say she understands he isn’t thrilled with all the scrutiny he experiences in Genoa City nor the job he is doing for Victor. Matt notes Victor’s upset with the mention of him leaving town but notes how she said he shouldn’t worry about the Newmans. Phyllis worries that Victor is threatening him with prison and says it could very well happen.
