Usha Vance has given birth to her fourth child, a baby boy. According to CNN, it is the first time in 150 years that a second lady has given birth while in office.
The Wall Street Journal reports that Vance gave birth on Sunday to Alec Neel Vance.
“We are excited to announce that our baby boy, Alec Neel Vance, was born this morning. Usha and the baby are happy and healthy, and our kids are overjoyed to meet their little brother,” Vice President JD Vance wrote on X.
According to ABC News, the couple announced that they were expecting their fourth child back in January. They share three other children: Ewan, Vivek and Mirabel.
