The Milwaukee Bucks have a handful of new players, who all come with new jersey numbers.

Every player on the Milwaukee Bucks now has a number after Caris LeVert's long-awaited decision. Between the Giannis Antetokounmpo trade and various other offseason dealings, the Bucks have gone through plenty of changes, welcoming many newcomers in the process. That opened the door for many number changes, so let's round them up.

Players from the Heat trade

Kel'el Ware - 9. After rocking No. 7 in Miami, Ware would have to choose a different digit unless he was determined to pry it away from Kevin Porter Jr. It appears he was content with switching, set to rock No. 9 in Milwaukee. Bobby Portis put in plenty of work in that jersey, so Ware will have big shoes to fill as long as he dons it.

Tyler Herro - 11. After initially being set to wear No. 42, partially a nod to former Buck Charlie Bell, Herro saw a new opportunity when No. 11 became available following the Gary Harris trade. Like Ware, Herro will don a jersey that was represented by a championship-winning Buck, Brook Lopez in this case, and will have to do it justice.

Jaime Jaquez Jr. - 24. This feels like a trend here. Jaquez is taking Pat Connaughton's number, which he wore as a member of Milwaukee's title-winning team. With Herro nabbing 11, the digit Jaquez wore in Miami, the forward decided to go back to his college roots and dust off 24. If the Bucks keep him in a sixth-man role, it could be a passing of the torch of sorts.

Kasparas Jakucionis - 25. This was the easiest of the entire bunch to predict. Jakucionis wore 25 in his rookie season with the Heat, and the number had been vacant since Serge Ibaka's departure from the Bucks years ago. Jakucionis will be one of Milwaukee's biggest wild cards this coming season, so it will be interesting to see what 25 can accomplish.

Numbers for the draftees and LeVert

Brayden Burries - 0. When it was first announced that Burries would rock No. 0, many thought it would be a placeholder number until Gary Trent Jr. left. Burries wore No. 5 in college, and it would only make sense to pick it up at the next level. Well, with Trent controversially returning, it looks like Burries will be sticking with No. 0, taking the mantle after Damian Lillard's departure.

Nate Ament - 15. With No. 10, his college number, retired in Milwaukee, Ament would have to find a new identity, and he's doing it with 15. It's unclear how much Ament might see the floor in that jersey this coming season, as the forward is incredibly raw, but his Summer League performance provided optimism that the Milwaukee Bucks have a young player worth developing here.

Caris LeVert - 12. Despite being traded to Milwaukee earlier this month, LeVert took his time when it came to choosing his new number. Perhaps the Bucks were looking to reroute him in some capacity. Whatever the case, LeVert is now sticking around for the time being, and he's taking Taurean Prince's digit after being traded for him.
