United Airlines' computer system faltered at Bush Airport on Saturday morning, resulting in a chaotic scene as passengers couldn't check in and were delayed boarding their flights.
United Airlines said it had technology issues affecting its contact centers and check-in processes. Operations later began working by 8:30 a.m.
Videos and photos at the airport showed self-check in kiosks displaying the words "temporarily unavailable."
The issue, as expected, angered some passengers.
The issue appeared to be nationwide, according to passengers.
