Pride Houston 365 to debut charity golf tournament in Missouri City, benefiting LGBTQ+ community

Pride Houston 365 is teeing up golf, giving and a garden party.

Pride Houston 365 will host a golf tournament in Missouri City this fall.

The nonprofit, which advocates for and supports LGBTQ+ communities, will host its inaugural Pink Tee Pride Golf Classic on Sunday, Sept. 20, at Quail Valley Golf Course.

Players will compete charity-style nine-hole tournament from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., a news release details. The event will also feature networking opportunities, a reception, a garden party, a women's leadership discussion, an awards ceremony and raffles.

"We wanted to create something that feels truly special, an event where philanthropy meets hospitality and every detail encourages people to connect, celebrate and give back," Kerry-Ann Morrison, president of Pride Houston 365, said in a statement. "Inspired by the elegance of premier golf and social events, Pink Tee Pride is designed to be just as memorable off the course as it is on it."

Proceeds will support Pride Houston 365 programs focused on LGBTQ+ advocacy initiatives, community outreach and public events in Houston.
