Concerns about Trump's health made the rounds on social media again after users saw multicolored bruises on his hands.
The president was on his way to Georgia to meet students in an Atlanta high school when he stopped to speak to reporters. Images from the interaction show Trump's hands, with some bruises appearing to turn green, purple and red.
This is not the first time the president's health — or the bruises on his hands — have drawn attention. Ever since his second term began, multiple instances of his bruises, swelling around his extremities and incoherence during speeches have raised alarm over his mental and physical well-being.

The 80-year-old became the oldest president to be sworn in to office in January 2025. Earlier this month, a picture of Trump with a purple lesion on his hand sparked concerns about his health.
In early May, the swelling and bruises on his hands were prominently seen during a White House reception.

He has also been spotted dozing off on multiple occasions, including recently during the Pennsylvania Defense and Innovation Summit, which he attended alongside Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.
Despite these concerns, the president and the White House have maintained that the POTUS remains in peak health. In May, the president said he took three cognitive tests administered by medical professionals at the Walter Reed Medical Military Medical Center.
"I took it, and I aced it," the president said. "And they had tough questions."
"I did it twice in my second term," he added. "So I've taken it, and I've aced it all three times."
A medical report released the same month described Trump to be in "excellent health" and "fully fit." The president weighed in at 238 pounds, up 14 pounds from a medical exam in April 2025. His doctors gave him guidance on his diet, physical activity and weight loss, but at the same time concluded his “cognitive and physical performance are excellent.”
The White House, while addressing the bruising in his hands, said last year, "Recent photos of the president have shown minor bruising on the back of his hand. This is consistent with minor soft tissue irritation from frequent handshaking... The president remains in excellent health."
Trump also suffers from chronic venous insufficiency, which might explain his swollen extremities. The condition, common for people his age, develops when veins become damaged and fail to work effectively. Under normal circumstances, valves within the veins transport blood from throughout the body to the heart, but chronic venous insufficiency restricts this blood flow, leading to blood pooling in the legs.
