President Donald Trump baselessly claimed communists are plotting to blow up Mount Rushmore without providing evidence, during an unhinged rant.

The President was visiting Georgia to tout a new child account program but soon ran off into tangents about alleged voter fraud and communism, which he called the "biggest threat" to the country. At one point, he made a wild and unfounded claim that communists were plotting to detonate Mount Rushmore.

"As I said in my recent address, Mount Rushmore is a beautiful place. The communists want to take it down. They want to blow it up, they want to take it down."

In a similar speech at Mount Rushmore on July 4th, the president dragged communism after numerous progressive candidates won in recent primaries.

"There is now a resurgence of the communist menace in our land, including from newcomers to our country, who embrace ideas totally opposed to our way of life and our great success," he said under the carved faces of former presidents.

Trump called communism "a mortal threat to American liberty" worse than September 11, "the enemy of the Constitution," "the enemy of July 4, 1776," and "the enemy" overall.

"So, on the eve of this 250th anniversary of American heritage, we resolve and swear for all to hear that the citizens of the United States of America will vanquish communism quickly," Trump said, adding, "Don’t let them take too much of your time."

Trump's purpose for visiting the high school was to tout a new child investment account. The program aims to make every American child under the age of 18 eligible for an account. Those born during the second Trump administration would receive a $1,000 federal deposit. Parent and employers could give a maximum of $5000 annually.

Accounts could reach to more than $18,000 without additional deposits, or more than $1 million by age 28, according to estimates from Trump administration officials. Moreover, the program will be open to Georgia foster children, according to Gov. Brian Kemp.
