Tom Brady got to enjoy “one of the greatest” sporting events of all time alongside his favorite people.
On Monday, July 20, the retired NFL star, 48, shared several photos of himself enjoying the FIFA World Cup final, which saw Spain defeat Argentina for a victory that was 16 years in the making, alongside his three children: Jack, 18, Benjamin, 16, and Vivian, 13.
“What a finale to one of the greatest month-long sporting events we’ve ever seen,” Brady wrote on Instagram alongside several snaps of himself proudly wrapping his arms around his kids as they watched the game from the stands. “So happy to share it with my favorite crew.”
“To everyone who made this month what it was, friends, family, and the athletes from around the world who stepped in the arena… these are the memories we’ll be talking about for the rest of our lives,” he continued. “I’m glad I made them with you.”
In addition to watching the game together, Brady and his kids made their way down to the field for a photo before the athlete spent a few moments catching up with Travis Scott.

“Sports have given me everything,” the athlete wrote on Instagram. “But watching this one from the other side reminded me why any of us fall in love with sports in the first place. Thank you for the memories @fifaworldcup , see you in 4 years!”
Earlier this month, Brady shared a goofy moment with Vivian as they watched Brazil compete against Morocco on Saturday, June 13.
In a video shared by Fox Sports, the father of three could be seen turning to his teenager and holding out his hand. They then took part in an intricate and personalized handshake.
“It was a little inside joke we had,” Brady recently told Jameis Winston and Rob Gronkowski on their new Tubi show, The Other Football. “We had this handshake because I took her, basically around the world — we went to the Netherlands, we went to Sweden, then we went to Japan, and we went to a restaurant called Wagyu Mafia.”

Every time the servers would bring food to their table at the restaurant, Brady recalled them always saying, ‘eat sushi!’ with an exuberant gesture.
“So we have our little handshake and we always throw the little ‘eat sushi’ at it together,” he explained. “It was cute ‘cause she made a joke about some player being old, and I said, ‘Well, your Daddy at 44 was still showing these kids what to do.’ So, then I went for the handshake and little did I know, we got clipped...it made for a really funny night.”
