The supermodel calls her fraternal twin her “other half”
When Gisele Bündchen says she’s twinning, she literally means it.
The model has five sisters, one of whom is her fraternal twin, Patricia “Pati” Bündchen. The sisters were born on July 20, 1980. Gisele frequently praises Patricia, whom she’s appropriately referred to as her “other half,” and pays tribute to her nearly annually on their shared birthday.
In May 2023, the two made a rare red carpet appearance together at the model’s Luz Alliance Gala in Miami, which benefited the Brazil Foundation.
“This was my first Gala and couldn’t have done it without my sister Pati, who worked diligently with the Brazil Foundation to organize this special evening,” Gisele told PEOPLE after the event. “It was very special to have her here tonight. She worked so hard to organize this event as she does every day.”
Patricia serves as her superstar sister’s manager and oversees her business deals in Brazil.
“I know she’s got my back like I got hers,” Gisele continued at the event. “We trust each other, and we always want the best for one another, and that is priceless.”

Even as they’ve grown older, the twins often celebrate their birthdays together. For their 44th, they spent time out in the water and enjoyed sweet treats.

In September 2023, Gisele shared a carousel from a family reunion in Brazil.
One of the photos included was a shot of the model with her five sisters — Pati, Rafaela, Graziela, Gabriela and Raquel — smiling at the camera alongside their parents, Vânia and Valdir.

The twin sisters stepped out in Miami in May 2023 for the Luz Alliance Gala, an event they organized together.
“My family is everything to me, and my sisters are my best friends, even if sometimes we disagree,” Gisele shared at the event. “Family is what gives us our foundation, they are our greatest teachers, and they help us become who we are.”
