This $13 hack makes even grocery-store flowers look like they came from a florist

It’s been out of stock for months, so snag it while you can.

Every time I bring home fresh flowers, whether it’s tulips from Trader Joe’s or blooms from the farmers market, I have the same vision: a lush, artfully arranged centerpiece that looks like it cost hundreds at a florist.

The reality is always … a lot less glamorous, with blooms flopping, stems askew, and no amount of zhuzhing seems to create that full, balanced look I’m after.

Florists have long relied on tricks like floral frogs, tape grids, and floral foam to keep every bloom exactly where it belongs. But I’ve been eyeing a simpler solution for months: a reusable silicone flower-arranging grid called the Vase Buddy.

It stretches over the top of practically any vase to create perfectly spaced openings for each stem. It’s “perfect for arranging cut flowers” “like a pro” and “in half the time,” fans say. The only problem: It stays sold out at Amazon, but it’s finally back in stock—and it’s just $13.

Instead of painstakingly crisscrossing strips of Scotch tape or futzing with messy floral foam, the stretchy silicone grid simply pops over the rim of your vase. Tuck each stem into its own slot, and the grid keeps everything perfectly spaced and standing tall—even heavy blossoms like peonies and hydrangeas—making even inexpensive grocery-store flowers look fuller, fancier, and surprisingly professional, fans say.

“This cost-effective tool has been so helpful in bettering my floral arrangements at home,” according to one five-star reviewer. “It fits on many different vases and stretches without breaking. It is also very easy to clean and does not leave behind any kind of residue.”

Others appreciate that it’s reusable, comfortably fits vases up to 8 inches in diameter, and works with vessels including wide-mouth urns and pitchers with spouts. The translucent silicone all but disappears along the rim of any vessel, and as long as the surface is dry when you put it on your vase, the Vase Buddy will grab hold and stay put without shifting. And as far as results, shoppers say it’s far “better than Oasis or using tape as a grid.”

If you’ve ever found yourself admiring the flowers in magazines and wondering why your bouquets never quite look the same, this little hack might be the missing piece of the puzzle. At just $13, it’s an easy upgrade that could make every bouquet you bring home look more polished—without requiring florist-level skills, specialty supplies, or endless tinkering.

Considering this is the first time in months I’ve seen the Vase Buddy in stock, I have a feeling it won’t stay around for long. Stock up today—I know I already have—and read on for other best-sellers that can help you level up your flower-arranging game.

People keep finding dryer sheets in their mailboxes — here is why you shouldn’t touch it

A dryer sheet tucked between the bills and the junk mail sounds like a prank. It isn’t, and tossing it in the trash could be a mistake. Across the country, homeowners are opening their mailboxes to find a Bounce or Snuggle sheet sitting inside, left there deliberately by their letter carrier. The practice has quietly persisted for years, and it comes down to one thing, keeping wasps out. Mailboxes make ideal real estate for stinging insects....
