Belgian Jasper Philipsen claimed his first stage win at the 2026 Tour de France, while the overall standings remain unchanged. Check out the classifications after Stage 17.
Jasper Philipsen finally has his stage win. The Belgian won the sprint in Voiron ahead of Switzerland’s Mauro Schmid (Jayco AlUla) and the Netherlands’ Olav Kooij (Decathlon-CMA CGM). He thus takes his first victory on this Tour and makes a nice move in the battle for the green jersey.
The gaps among the favorites do not change. It took time for the breakaway to form, but the favorites’ group stayed out of trouble this Wednesday. Tadej Pogacar (UAE Emirates-XRG) remains in the Yellow Jersey, well ahead of Remco Evenepoel (Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe). On the other hand, it is still very tight between Isaac Del Toro (UAE Emirates-XRG) and Paul Seixas (Decathlon-CMA CGM), still separated by a small 20 seconds.
