Training Camp is just around the corner for teams throughout the NFL, including the Green Bay Packers. The club will kick off training camp in just over a week, looking to bounce back from an early exit in last season's playoffs. Matt LaFleur and his squad are coming into the 2026 campaign with a positive outlook, but like every team, there will be questions to answer during camp.

With Packers stars like Jordan Love, Josh Jacobs and Xavier McKinney set to hit the practice field on July 29, let's look at four questions for LaFleur and company to answer ahead of the start of the season:

Can Jordan Love Take Another Leap And Do More With Less?

Much of the Packers' success will fall on the shoulders of franchise quarterback Jordan Love in 2026. He's coming into the season with plenty of hype, fresh off a highly efficient 2025 campaign in which he completed a career-high 66.3% of his passes for 3,381 yards and 23 touchdowns. Green Bay's offense will look for Love to take another leap in terms of his production despite questions at wide receiver. Following the loss of Romeo Doubs in free agency, he'll look for another reliable option in the passing game this season.

Who Will Step Up In Micah Parsons' Absence?

Micah Parsons Starting on PUP Could Expose Packers' Biggest Defensive Risk

Green Bay's defense will be tested early in the 2026 season. All-Pro pass-rusher Micah Parsons is slated to miss a good chunk of the year on the PUP list, as he continues to work his way back from a torn ACL and meniscus suffered in Week 15 of last season. Without Parsons, defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon will be tasked with filling the void of All-Pro production to avoid the drop-off the team suffered last year. Expectations will be elevated for former first-round pick Lukas Van Ness and upcoming rookie Dani Dennis-Sutton.

How Will Zach Tom Bounce Back From Injury In 2026?

After cementing his case as one of the NFL's top offensive tackles, Zach Tom missed notable time in 2025. Green Bay's star tackle was limited to just 12 games due to a partially torn patellar tendon in his right knee, raising questions over his potential performance in 2026 as he works his way back from injury. For Love to take another leap this season, the Packers will need another stellar performance from their franchise tackle.

Will Matthew Golden or Christian Watson Step up as WR1?

We previously touched on the loss of Doubs in free agency, but we failed to mention the potential impact of his absence on Green Bay's passing attack. Without Doubs, the Packers will look for another wideout to step up as the team's WR1 in 2026. The two obvious candidates are Matthew Golden and Christian Watson. With both slated to see an uptick in volume, the opportunities should be there for either Watson or Golden to separate and establish a role as WR1 in the passing game coming into the season.
