The only thing more enticing than a Caribbean getaway is one combined with elevated dining from A-list chefs—and next year’s Cayman Cookout is a star-studded lineup for the ages.
Some of the famous faces who will appear at the four-day event from Jan. 14 through 17, 2027, include José Andrés, Andrew Zimmern, Daniel Boulud, and Emeril Lagasse. The event will be held at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman, and hosted by Eric Ripert, who is best known for the three Michelin-star Le Bernardin and the resort’s restaurant Blue.
Also joining the premier Caribbean cookout are culinary legends Buddha Lo, Chutatip “Nok” Suntaranon, Christophe Bellanca, Clare Smyth, Claude Le Tohic, Dean Max, E.J. Lagasse, Eunji Lee, Michael Cimarusti, and Orlando Soto. On the beverage side, Aldo Sohm, Bobby Stuckey, Charles Joly, Christina Suzuki, Gary Gruver, Ivy Mix, and Michael Kennedy will join.
“What makes Cayman Cookout truly special is the rare level of access guests have to some of the most influential names in food and beverage, whether through intimate dinners, hands-on masterclasses, collaborative tastings, or spontaneous moments of connection throughout the weekend,” said hotel manager Keisha Parcells-Robb in a statement shared with Travel + Leisure. “Each year, we look forward to pushing the experience even further while continuing to celebrate culinary artistry, discovery, and genuine hospitality.”
Guests will get an intimate look behind the dishes of the international chefs through cooking demonstrations, workshops, and dining experiences. But it’s not just about the food—the unique charm is being in the dreamy island setting along with the famous names, enjoying the 369-room five-star resort’s 144 acres right on Seven Mile Beach, and perhaps even playing pickleball and pétanque alongside them.
The “Cayman Cookout” package starts at $3,200 for a three-night stay for two guests, inclusive of the resort fee. It includes top-notch accommodations, tickets to cooking demonstrations, daily breakfast at Seven restaurant, and airport transfers. The guests will also have access to several signature festival experiences.
T+L editor Susmita Baral experienced the Cayman Cookout in 2024 and remarked on how the island location truly made the event stand out from other culinary festivals. “Apart from great food and the celebrity chef presence, the beaches are stunning and there are other excursions to do between meals,” she said.
But even more special than the fine food in paradise is the community that has organically formed around the festivities, she noted. “I met a lot of guests who were repeat visitors and come year after year.”
Ripert also highlighted the sense of community. “This event brings together international experts in the stunning setting of Grand Cayman, honoring both the island and our cherished attendees,” he said in an earlier statement. “Each year I host, I am continually moved and inspired by the emotion, creativity, and passion poured into every dish.”
